GES released GH¢1,500 per Circuit as ‘First Quarter’ Budgetary Allocations for Regular School Inspections.
The Ghana Education Service has released the First Quarter allocations of the 2018 Goods and Services Budget to all Regional and District Directorates of the Ghana Education Service to be used for planned activities in the District, Municipality, Metropolitan and Regional Directorates.
As part of the first quarter allocations, each Circuit is expected to receive GH¢1,500 for general monitoring and supervision of the schools ,including regular School inspections.
Each region is expected to receive GH¢25,000 while the Districts received GH¢10,000 from the first quarter allotment of the 2018 budget.
The Ghana Education Service made these revelations in a statement issued and signed by the Director General ,Prof. Kwasi Opoku -Amankwa on July 12,2018.
The statement further indicated that,the warrant had been sent to all regional directors of education to be distributed to all district directors for processing onto the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System(GIFMIS) at the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies.
