GES Short Code for BECE Private and Regular Candidates 2018/2019

GES Short Code for BECE Private and Regular Candidates 2018 has been released.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released short code for BECE candidates awaiting placement into the various senior high schools to verify their school selection details and correct any errors on their forms within the next two weeks.
In a statement issued by the National secretariat of the Ghana Education Service,  the candidates, both private and regular, are advised to text the short code *800*25# on their mobile phones to do the verification. Each text will cost one cedi on all mobile networks and the opportunity ends on August 19,2018.
“Candidates with any errors or mistakes in their original school selection forms are to inform the District Director of Education in their respective Districts through their Heads of Junior High Schools,” the Ghana Education Service said in a statement Friday.
The confirmation process, according to the GES, is to ensure that schools chosen by candidates are exactly what GES has in its system for a hitch-free school placement this year.
GES father indicated,that  those with complaints have a covering letter from their head teachers with a photocopy of their signed original choice forms.
