The Authority of Mountcrest University College (MCU) has publicized the Entry Requirement AKA Admission Requirement for prospective candidates that seek admission into the institution for the 2021/2022 academic year.
These requirements are for various programmes offered at the institution, it serves as a guide in the application process. All interested applicants are to read through carefully making sure that they fulfil the requirements before putting in an application.
Mountcrest University College Admission Requirements 2021/2022
MINIMUM/GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(i) WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants Applicants for admission to a degree programme in the University College must have CREDITS in the FOUR (4) WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Social Studies and Integrated Science), and Credits in three SSSCE/WASSCE Elective Subjects.
(ii) MATURE APPLICANTSMature Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years at the time of submitting the application forms. Applicants must have at least FIVE (5) passes at the GCE ‘O’ Level, or SSSCE or WASSCE. The FIVE (5) passes should include English Language and Mathematics. In addition, the applicant must fulfil the appropriate Faculty or Departmental requirements and pass a Selection Interview.
(iii)TRANSFER STUDENTS Applicants who have followed a minimum of ONE (1) year or TWO (2) semesters of their programmes as regular students pursuing the same degree with satisfactory progress in a recognized University/Institution, including Zenith College (External Degree LLB) should provide an official academic transcript from the previous University/Institution for consideration by the Admissions Board.
