NABCO Vacancy Opened for College of Education Holder

Applicants for the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCO) program shall be employed to occupy the vacant spaces in the upcoming Double-Track Senior High School System to be implemented in the 2018/19 Academic year.
This was contained in a revelation made by  the Public Relations Officer of the ministry, Ekow Vincent Assafuah on Monday,on Joy News morning show.
The Public Relations Officer emphasized that the qualification of these new teachers would be a minimum qualification of a Trained Teacher from the Colleges of Education.
“They should have had training in the Colleges of Education,” he said.
The Public Relations Officer was responding to questions concerning the availability of the needed staff to teach the students in each track.
“About 43,000 teachers registered for the NaBCo programme so there’s no difficulty to get new recruits for the double track policy,” he said.
Government introduced the Double-Track system to serve as a solution to the overcrowding that the Senior High Schools suffered when the Free SHS policy was introduced in September 2017,and to make way for the New extrants for the 2018/19 academic year.
The new entrants include candidates who took part in the February BECE Resit and June BECE for regular students this year.
The double year-round system divides the entire student body and staff into two different tracks. So while one track is in school, the other is on vacation.
