You will be selling and following personal clients while developing business strategies to increase profitability. Responsibilities

  • Liaising with travel partners, tour operators, and hotels, to manage bookings, schedules & promotions.
  • Selling travel products & tour packages; and dealing with customer enquiries
  • Meeting regularly with company director to provide feedback on agency & staff performance; and to take direction.
  • Proposes strategies to development the profitability of the agency
  • Analyzes sales figures and forecasts future sales volume
  • Analyzes market trends in the travel industry and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Ensures that company procedures, guidelines and standards are followed in the areas of: customer service, ticketing, attendance, accuracy of work, invoicing etc. for assigned employees
  • Responsible for ensuring all staff are fully trained on office standards, new enhancements and products
  • Manage and motivate the team to increase and close sales
  • Researches and provides solutions to escalated travel-related issues from clients
  • Foster a positive team environment and provide strong leadership

 
Requirements
A minimum of HND in a relevant discipline
2 to 5 years’ experience in travel and tours operations
Excellent customer service skills
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
