Three Weeks Given to BECE Candidates after Exams for School Selection

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has extended the School Selection and Placement system (SSPS) for Candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The Ghana Education Service has Indicated that all Junior High Schools who were not able to select the Senior High Schools for their Candidates shall be given up to Three Weeks after writing their Upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination to complete with the School Selection Process.

In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations of the Ghana Education Service, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, dated May 31,2018.,the GES emphasized that the extended selection process should not distract the Candidates not be a cause for any alarm to the candidates.

The GES urged all Candidates to prepare adequately for the forthcoming examination and work on the selection process after the exam, especially to schools the were not able to neither complete nor start the process entirety.
